Hi! I saw you guys at the Celtic Festival in Zephyrhills a couple of weeks ago. I need to find a local bagpipe tutor.
I would like to know if there is anyone who might be available to help me out in the neighborhood? I live in Z'hills, and work in Brandon, so the east side of Hillsborough would be convenient for me to travel for lessons, but I won't mind some inconvenience. I'm anxious to learn. I have a chanter and have access to a set of pipes. I even have access to an Elliot kilt! (My former husband is a member of Clan Elliot. )
Best number to reach me is my cell: ***(email Dana for contact numbers***) (I usually fail to check my messages at home. ) Best e-mail is WWFRIEND4U@HOTMAIL.COM as I am able to check it frequently.
I look forward to hearing from you soon! If you're available, are you interested in teaching an old dog new tricks?? I was first chair flute in jr. high school, so I can read music, keep a beat and I'm a good listener and highly motivated. I quit smoking some years ago, so I think I have the lung-power now too!
Best regards,
Barb Friend
